Getting Started

Fisch is a fishing loop with RPG stats hiding under the water. You catch, you sell, you buy a better rod, you go somewhere colder.

The first rod is fine. The first location is fine. Your first mistake is sailing to a legendary pool with a starter rod and calling the game broken.

Codes are cosmetic. Redeem them, then ignore them. The grind is rods, bait, and knowing which fish actually sell.

Beginner Tips

Sell often. Inventory space and cash flow matter more than holding a trophy you cannot appraise yet.

Bait is a multiplier. Using the wrong bait in the right biome is still the wrong bait.

Night, weather, and season change the pool. If a guide says a fish is “rare,” it usually means “rare in this weather,” not “impossible.”

Advanced Strategies

Rod progression is the real skill tree. Enchantments and unique rods outperform raw luck stacking for most players.

Submarine parts from TemporarySubmarine are collection and traversal, not a catch-rate cheat. Use them to reach spots, not as a flex in the menu.

The best money/hour is a boring route you can repeat. Exotic hunts are for when the boring route has already paid for the rod.

Currency Guide

C$ is the sell-fish currency. You will always want more of it. Codes do not print C$ in the current list.

Event currencies and quest items show up during Fischfests. They expire. Spend them inside the event shop.

Rods, Bobbers, Skins

Bobbers from codes (CARBON) are cosmetic unless a patch notes a stat. Assume cosmetic.

scarlet currently maps to a Scarlet rod/blade skin. Skins do not catch fish for you.

Keep one rod you can actually play. A legendary rod with a timing window you miss is a starter rod with extra steps.
